I am an Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Alaska with over 8 years of experience working as a clinical therapist. I have worked with clients of all ages who have experienced symptoms including unhappiness in their career choice, anxiety, depression, parenting concerns, relationship issues, grief and loss, ODD and ADHD. I also have experience in trauma-informed care.
My counseling style is warm and personable. I believe in the humanistic approach and treat everyone with respect, kindness, and compassion. In my approach I use cognitive-behavioral, dialectical-behavioral, and motivational interviewing. I believe in identifying and teaching resiliency. I am open to modifying my style of communication to meet your needs.
