Danielle Whalen, LPC received her Master's Degree in Mental Health Counseling from Monmouth University, with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Kean University. I am here to be on your team, joining you on your adventure towards the life you want. I believe it is important to provide a nurturing, judgement-free and supportive environment for my clients to feel comfortable and make positive steps on their journey of growth. A bit about my approach to therapy I often find myself leaning towards CBT and Supportive Therapy techniques, however remain cognizant that therapy is not a one size fits all experience and requires flexibility from me to best meet the needs of my clients. What you can expect from our first session During our first session we will discuss your background, expectations and goals for therapy. It is my responsibility to offer an open and supportive space free of bias and judgement for my clients to feel confident sharing their struggles with me.
