Hello! I am so glad you are interested in taking the first step towards change! I view therapy as a relationship and you are the ultimate expert because you know your life and those in your environment best. My role is to point areas I hear that could be easily overlooked by you and ideas to assist you in working through your current problem area. Therapy is a safe place to bounce feelings and ideas off of a non-bias individual without judgement. I use a mix of therapeutic techniques which primarily include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Solution-Focused Therapy. I believe that focusing on areas you can control, making plans, finding a few meaningful relationships, and working through negative thinking can be huge benefits!
My background includes experiences in inpatient, partial hospitalization program, youth residential setting, outpatient setting, and working within the school system. I have worked with individuals ages 4-65 doing individual, couple, family, addiction, and group therapy throughout my career. I have worked with individuals of all ages at all steps in life from being in crisis to dealing with transitions.
