Hello and welcome to my page. My name is Danielle Sheppard and I am a licensed clinician who helps individuals and couples realize and achieve their true potential. I recognize that every person or couple is different in terms of goals, aspirations, and the pursuit of happiness, and that each journey is different. I strive to help each person realize their strengths, values, and actualized potential. I utilize a holistic approach to therapy, often encouraging clients to incorporate meditation and mindfulness into their self care ritual. I incorporate an integration of LGBTQ+ affirmative therapy, CBT, Mindfulness, and postmodern approaches coupled with a strengths-based approach to tailor therapy to each client. I have a passion for being witness to individuals as they see and express the strengths in themselves and is certified in career assessments related to personal and work discovery. I approach each client as a unique story to hear and to learn together. Additionally, some of my specialities are infertility, perinatal and postpartum mood disorders, anxiety, career and work/life challenges, major life transitions, grief and loss, and identity. She is also a professor of psychology to MFT trainees and community college psychology students. Clients have acknowledged me for my natural intuition, down to earth, non-judgmental approach and appreciate my balance of warmth, kindness and ability to provide life changing insight.
