I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in New York State with 8 years of professional work experience. I have experience in helping clients with stress and anxiety, coping with addictions, trauma and abuse, social determinants of mental health, and motivation, self esteem, and confidence. I have worked with a variety of populations in my clinical work including people with substance use disorder, children and family members of people with substance use disorder, children and families who are involved with the child welfare system, and people who are managing life transitions including changes in relationship status, employment, socio-economic status, caregiving of loved ones, and much more. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. I work within a trauma-informed lens and will tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs. I have a passion for self-care and wellness and I believe that everyone has the power to take control of their emotions and achieve a sense of self-actualization and self-sufficiency beyond therapy. I am committed to providing culturally competent care and implement the most effective strategies in my day-to-day work.
