"You’re feeling overwhelmed. Adulting is harder than anyone prepared you for. In reality, you’re exhausted, overwhelmed, irritable, but you put on that “I’ve got this under control” mask. At night you try and fall asleep, but your mind won’t stop racing about all the what-ifs and to-dos. Whether it’s college courses, a new career, parenting, navigating your relationships, things are often more challenging than we imagined. You feel like you’re failing. Like you’re drowning, trying to catch your breath. You’re here because you’re worried you can’t keep this up much longer, but you’re scared if you slip up, or rest, everyone will find out what your life is really like leaving you ashamed and exposed. Therapy can help you feel less anxious, more connected, present, and able to actually enjoy the successful life you’ve worked so hard to create.
