I am a licensed independent clinical social worker in the state of Vermont. I have six years of experience working as a therapist and social worker in NYC, CT and VT. I have worked with clients with a wide range of difficulties and from many different backgrounds and cultures. I have worked in various settings including homeless outreach with the NYC transit system, foster care, private rehabilitation centers, inpatient psychiatric units and in a correctional facility. Many of the individuals I worked with in each of these settings have experienced a traumatic life event or have been an abuse survivor.

My counseling style is compassionate and solution-focused. I believe in treating anyone with respect, sensitivity, and empathy, and I don't believe in stigmatizing labels. My approach combines a number of different modalities including, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), humanistic, psychodynamic and dialectical-behavioral therapy (DBT), because every client is different . I will tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs. I also approach my work through a trauma-informed lens.
