About
My name is Danielle Bousselaire and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in California. I earned my Bachelors of Social Work at Colorado State University and my Masters of Social Work at the University of Southern California. I have worked in many different settings with a wife range of clientele. I started my career working with children and families, however, throughout the years, I have worked with an array of patients. On top of my career as a social worker at a psychiatric hospital, I have spent time working in a medical hospital, including the emergency room. A lot of the issues I have worked with are depression, anxiety, stress, anger, trauma, homelessness, family issues, and psychotic disorders. I believe life is a journey and throughout that journey we are often confronted with challenges which may leave us struggling to find our inner strength and wanting to achieve personal growth. My approach is to listen empathetically and provide a safe and nonjudgmental place to develop individualized treatment goals and find your inner strengths. I believe each person has a set of gifts and strenghts that can help them in their pursuit to reach their potential. My goal for each individual is that they not only learn the effective skills and tools to assist them through the issue(s) that brought them to therapy, but to enable them to utilize these skills should future challenges arise. I look forward to working with you and guiding you in meeting your goals and increasing your quality of life.
