Hello! My name is Daniela Belli and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of New York. I graduated from Lehman College in the Bronx, NY, with a Master's degree in Social Work and have five years of experience working as a therapist. I work with individuals who have a variety of concerns, such as: depression, anxiety, history of trauma, inattention, anger, grief/loss, substance use and dependence, life changes, relationship issues, self-esteem, history of incarceration, and more. I specialize in treating people who have experienced trauma. I have been inspired by watching many people overcome challenges and increase their quality of life.

My counseling style is validating, direct, and supportive. I work to empower people who have had adverse experiences, and help them to find their voice. I aim to provide a space that is safe, warm, and non-judgmental, and a place where you can freely to talk about what you are experiencing. I believe that therapy is about collaboratively working towards accomplishing your goals by building on your strengths in order to help you to reach your full potential. My approach combines aspects of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, (TF-CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Mindfulness, tailored to your needs, in order to help you to reach your goals. There isn't a "one size fits all" approach to therapy; the treatment that I provide is individualized to your needs.

It takes a great deal of strength to ask for help with struggles you are going through and to work towards making change. By being here, you are already one step closer to starting your journey to healing. I am here to help you along your journey- you are not alone. Life is short, so I would be privileged if you allow me to help you to create a life worth living.
