Hi! My name is Daniel, and I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of Florida with more than 7 years of experience in mental health and substance abuse. I’ve worked with a wide variety of people and work with many issues including parenting, LGBTQ, trauma & abuse, bipolar disorder, anxiety, depression, loss, addiction, and others. I particularly like working with depression, anxiety, dealing with trauma, life transitions, and substance abuse.
Are you are feeling overwhelmed, anxious, sad, misunderstood, or stuck? I would like to help. I offer a safe and respectful place to explore what you are going through as well as effective ways to make changes in your life. Respect and communication are important to me. I will encourage people I work with to be a little uncomfortable, but you will be in charge of what you choose to do or not to do without judgment (for example doing writing, homework, or direction). I genuinely enjoy working with people of different ages and situations to help make effective changes and through feelings and situations.
I have weekend and evening hours as well as weekday working hours. In my personal life, I like to fix whatever I can get my hands on and spend a lot of time with my cats hanging out on top of me. Thanks for considering me and congrats on taking the step of seeking help to live your best life.
