My name is D'Ana Smith and I am a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW), with board approved clinical supervisor (BACS) status in the state of Louisiana. I also hold LCSW licensure in the state of Mississippi. I have been working in the field of social work for over twenty years. I've spent the majority of my career working in communities, in and around the New Orleans Metropolitan area. My career has allowed me to garner experience working with families and individuals (teens, adults and the elderly) within several contexts (i.e. crisis counseling, medical/primary care, mental health, workforce development, program planning & implementation).

I am client-centered in my approach to therapy. It is my sincere desire that therapy be customized to fit the particular needs of the patients that I am working with. Whether it be problem-solving around a recent life event, phase of life adjustment or long-standing issues that you are challenged with; I am committed to working with you to bring resolution. I use evidence-based treatment within an organic framework that is sensitive to your life experience; cultural, ethnic and geographic perspective . Lastly, I enjoy social work and am both eager and honored to help you along life's journey.
