I am licensed in Texas with 6 years of professional work experience as well as 10 years experience as a school counselor. before entering counseling I was a public school teacher for 7 years. I believe that the first step in helping others is to make sure you are taking care of yourself. I do this by spending time in nature and visiting with friends and family. I have experience in helping clients manage stress and anxiety, trauma and abuse,. during my career, I have helped numerous parents work through parenting issues. I also have experience working with coping with life changes. I work with my clients to create an open and safe environment where thoughts and feelings can be shared without fear of judgment. It takes courage to seek out a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards a change. I am here to support & empower you in that journey.
