My name is Dayna Russo (she/her); I live in a straight sized, able, queer, female presenting, white, neurodivergent body. For 12 years I have worked in the field of social work. I earned my Master’s of Social Work from Florida State University, and work with adolescents and adults primarily through individual therapeutic work. I focus on exploration of past and present struggles to recognize patterns in mood and behavior, learn new coping strategies, and become more self-compassionate. I want to help you reach your fullest potential, explore the intersectionality of your identities and how to accept them, and find more functional ways to exist in a changing, complex world. As a clinician, my practice is influenced by my own experiences and struggles. You’re not alone in needing help, and seeking therapy is judgment free! Many people present with similar concerns or diagnoses, but each person experiences their lives and feelings differently. We will work from your perspective and experience, and make the therapeutic experience unique to you. “When you can’t look on the bright side, I will sit with you in the dark”.
