About

I have been a licensed master's level social worker in the state of Michigan for 22 years. I have worked in many different therapy settings. I have a certification in trauma and most recently a lot of my focus has been on depression and anxiety - however, I also have experience in many other areas such as LGBTQ+A, relationships, grief and loss etc. Setting up an environment of respect and empathy is so important. I understand the stigma involved with getting your foot in the door to start counseling.

Some of the modalities that I am trained in include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Processing Therapy, Mindfulness, and Solution Focused. I work as a client centered therapist to set up a treatment goal and the steps we will take to work towards overall wellness. I look forward to working with you!
