I'm a doctorate of clinical psychology with two masters degree (clinical, counseling) currently licensed in New York (with previous licenses in Mississippi and Louisiana) with over 25 years of experience working in the human services field. My clients have been diverse (age, setting, geographics, identity/orientation, race, ethnicity) and served across a range of settings (schools, legal settings, home-based, outpatient clinical, inpatient psychiatric, Veterans' care, and geriatric/long term care). I have treated concerns including, but not limited to: depression, anxiety, anger-management & communication challenges, relationship issues, substance use/addictions, personality disorders, grief & loss, change-of-life challenges, and trauma.

My counseling style is integrative and based on your needs and goals. I am a strong patient advocate and you will never feel as though I am not supporting you to become your best self. I integrate stages of change, motivational interviewing, and assets theory across all other formal therapeutic theory and practice which I use (CBT, DBT, ACT, narrative, EMDR, addictions-informed, existential, and goal-oriented/strategic approaches).
