As a licensed clinical psychologist in the state of California, I've spent much of my career working in hospital-based and outpatient settings using evidenced-based CBT and DBT approaches, relational/solution-focused approaches, and life coaching. In my practice, I offer the opportunity to help people learn to process and better understand the relationship they have with their thoughts, feelings (emotions and physiology), and behaviors. My approach Using evidenced-based CBT and DBT approaches, relational/solution-focused approaches, and life coaching, I specialize in treating anxiety, depression, grief/loss, women's mental health issues, life transitions/adjustment, relationship issues and interpersonal conflict, and career identity issues. My focus I have found that my style and approach are a good fit for a broad range of adults, from younger to older, who are experiencing stress. My communication style My communication style is calm, empathetic, and personable. My hope is that my clients can feel comfortable sharing anything with me. In the therapy room, I pride myself on listening without judgment and providing feedback in a way that facilitates my client's ability to problem solve. My journey to mental healthcare In life, we all have come across situations that are difficult to manage. Our upbringing and past experiences can sometimes form limiting conditions, causing emotional wounds that trigger distress, both consciously and subconsciously, that may affect our relationships or progress toward goals.
