I have been supporting families and their children for over 25 years. Before I completed my MSW, I worked as a peer counselor, lactation consultant, and parent educator. My early training in engineering and understanding of research provides a broad knowledge of development from the hood into adolescence. I utilize a strength-based, client-centered approach to the therapeutic process, identifying personal strengths and direction from the support recipient. I incorporate play and art Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Mindfulness, and, Narrative-based modalities to support your overall needs and goals. I have also been trained in restorative practices. I look forward to walking with you for a time in your journey.
