About

I am a licensed mental health counselor in the state of Montana. I have worked in the mental health field since 2004 providing psychosocial rehabilitation services, case management services to refugees, and worked in adolescent residential treatment centers. My experiences in the field led me to go back to graduate school and obtain my Masters in Counseling. I believe in patient directed care and a holistic approach to life's problems. I have experience in counseling adults of all ages, adolescents, and facilitating groups. I have received specialized training in recovery cognitive behavioral therapy, mental health and nutrition, Native American issues, and trauma treatments. Therapeutic modalities I utilize are; cognitive behavioral therapy, person-centered therapy, mindfulness-based therapy, positive psychology, narrative therapy, motivational interviewing, and solution focused therapy. My goal is to focus on the client's strengths and collaborate with my clients to provide the best possible care to them to handle life's curveballs.
