Cynecia Breaux is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with seven years of experience working in inpatient and outpatient mental health settings. Cynecia is a Certified Clinical Anxiety Treatment Professional Certification (CCATP). She works with clients to equip them with tools to reduce avoidance and overcome anxiety. She received her bachelor’s degree in Sociology from the University of Houston. She went on to pursue her master’s degree in Clinical Psychology with a Specialization in Counseling from Walden University. Cynecia uses a solution-focused and person-centered integrative approach to helping her clients achieve mental wellness. She believes in creating a safe, non-judgmental space for clients to grow their interpersonal skills. She has experience working with clients presenting with various challenges such as grief therapy, anger management, Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder, anxiety, and depression. Cynecia thoroughly enjoys having the opportunity to treat clients with a vast array of mental diagnoses and determining the appropriate recommendation for treatment. She looks forward to developing into a better therapist and continuously assisting clients with their unique needs to attain holistic wellness. She looks forward to helping others. In her free time, Cynecia enjoys spending time with her family traveling. She also enjoys camping, playing sports, and going to the movies. She is the proud mother of two boys and the wife of a phenomenal teacher.
