About

I am an experienced Clinical Social Worker who specializes in working with individuals and professionals who are ready to be empowered and make positive life changes. It is my belief each of us deserve to live a more awake and happy life. I grew up gay in a rural community and know the discrimination a person can face in this world. I have worked with clients with a variety of concerns including anxiety, depression, LGBTQ challenges, career issues, and OCD. I have worked with many clients who have experienced emotional and physical trauma using EMDR.
I enjoy a strength-based approach that is compassionate and collaborative. I believe in providing a safe, nonjudgmental environment where a person can learn and grow into the person they want to be. I incorporate a number of treatment styles including Mindfulness, Positive Psychology, Solution Focused Therapy, Acceptance Commitment Therapy, and Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy. I also have training in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and hypnotherapy.
I have full respect for anyone who has the courage to improve their life through the counseling process. It would be a privilege to be included on your journey.
