Dr. Crystal Wildes is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist. She earned her Doctorate and Master of Arts degrees in Clinical Psychology from Illinois School of Professional Psychology in Chicago, Illinois, as well as her Master of Science in Community Counseling from Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa. She has been recognized as a member of the National Register of Health Service Psychologists and is an active member of the American Psychological Association (APA), Colorado Psychological Association (CPA), Association for Play Therapy, and EMDR International Association (EMDRIA). Dr. Wildes has over twelve years of experience working and training in a variety of settings, including residential treatment, community mental health, outpatient clinics, and non-profit organizations. She has worked with individuals and families of all ages, as well as adjudicated youth, at-risk teens, and families involved with social services. Dr. Wildes has specialty areas of trauma recovery, including having been trained in EMDR. She also has expertise in play therapy and enjoys teaching parenting classes with a special interest in attachment. Dr. Wildes has a passion and desire to help individuals and families find the happiness and change they are seeking. With an optimistic belief about the human spirit, she believes the therapeutic relationship and experience are powerful catalysts to positive growth.
