Hi! My name is Chris Nuss. I have a Master of Social Work degree from Virginia Commonwealth University and have been a Licensed Certified Social Worker for 17 years. Through the years, I have been privileged to work with children, teens, adults, couples, families and groups. My experience includes work with depression, anxiety, stress management, bipolar, trauma, marital issues, ADHD, grief, sexual abuse recovery, parenting and anger management.

Making the decision to seek counseling is an important first step toward finding the solutions you are looking for. It would be my privilege to support you in reaching your goals. We will work together to focus on your strengths and needs. Counseling can provide the tools and resources that can bring about positive change, as well as a fresh perspective on lingering problems. I can provide compassionate, unconditional support using the best clinical approach to your needs. In my work, I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Trauma-Informed Care and Solution-Focused Therapy, as well as other approaches as needed. For those specifically desiring to integrate their faith into their counseling, I can also offer Christian counseling. I would be honored to work with you!
