Hello, I'm Cristina. Do you feel worried and stressed? Are you struggling to stay positive, communicate with those around you, cope with work stress, and stay healthy? Are you struggling with your family relationships? Are you struggling with many changes in your life such as adapting to new relationships or a new country? I help young and middle-aged adults manage anxiety and avoid burnout. Together, we can identify what's not working, build confidence, increase healthy habits, replace negative thinking with positive thoughts, learn relaxation techniques, improve communication with others, learn about healthy boundaries, and improve relationships. We will set goals together and spend each session addressing these goals. We will discuss small steps toward these goals in each session. I also integrate mindfulness, communication skills training, and stress management skills to help you develop your coping skills and increase your problem-solving skills. Whether you're overwhelmed, struggling with a family conflict, in need of parenting strategies, struggling with relationship issues, or dealing with anxiety and depression, I'm here to help. Therapy can feel challenging, but that challenge is what changes you in a good way. You deserve a safe space to heal and grow. In our therapy sessions together, I'll meet you with compassion, empathy, respect, and sensitivity to help you explore alternative thoughts and behaviors that will help you meet your goals.
