About

Hello! I am a therapist with 9 years of experience in mental health, and 3 years of strictly counseling experience. In addition to obtaining my LMHC in Indiana, I am also a board-certified music therapist. While I have a wide range of experience, in recent years my work has focused on acute mental health, and individuals with trauma. I have worked extensively with families who struggle to communicate well, and have also worked with individuals who struggle with anxiety and/or depression and use substances to cope.

While I tend to take a primarily cognitive-behavioral approach to counseling, I try to meet my clients where they are at. Sometimes this means identifying the problem and finding solutions, and sometimes it means being more of a support and listening ear. My role is to help you reach your goals so let's talk about what those are and how you can get there. While I do tend to approach counseling from a faith perspective, I will only incorporate it as much as you are wanting to.
