About
Navigating the complexity of today’s stress levels can be difficult. If you add to that, the problems with addiction, relationships, trauma, and low self-esteem, then life in general can be overwhelming. Selecting the right Therapist is an important step in building your support team for recovery. I am grateful to have had the opportunity to develop and provide integrated (addiction/mental health) services to individuals, families and corporations for more than 30 years. I have served as a therapist, clinical director and CEO to many nationally recognized organizations such as Scripps McDonald Center, The Betty Ford Center, Michaels House, St Vincent De Paul, and Roadworks Collective. It has been a privilege to assist in developing dozens of integrated counseling/treatment programs such as: residential and outpatient dual diagnosis treatment centers, family services, judicial support services, youth/school programs and services for the homeless. My therapeutic approach is based in clinical knowledge, experience, and respect, recognizing that you have the insight and ability to move through your challenges and achieve your self-determined goals. I value your perspective, sense of self, and perspective of who you are and where you would like to be. It would be a privilege to be a part of your recovery team, together, developing and implementing the skill-sets that can assist you with your success. Some of your goals may be short solutions, and some may take a bit longer, either way, you will succeed. A self-empowering tool to consider is learning to how to identify and measure your progress. This is key to moving forward toward your goals and sustained recovery. I look forward to working with you.
