Hi there! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Integrative Health Coach. I am also a Certified Intuitive Eating Counselor and have training in mindful eating. My experience includes work in an urban community mental health center setting, school setting and private practice. I have worked with individuals coping with a variety of stressors, from depression and anxiety to relationship issues and substance use. I am especially passionate about helping women who are struggling with "burnout" when it comes to their careers, parenting, or just generally caring for everyone but themselves. My goal is for my clients to feel comfortable saying whatever is on their mind. As we get to know each other, I will take the time to learn what needs you might have that aren't being met, what tools and strategies might be helpful to you, and what steps you might be able to take to get you closer to a life that is more manageable and even enjoyable. I believe that each individual deserves to be seen and heard. Often, just knowing that someone else is there to recognize where we have been/what we are going through can be therapeutic; when that person helps us to recognize the strength and wisdom we didn't know we had, that is empowering.
