My name is Courtney Hart LMFT and I enjoy assisting client in finding their true potential and life purpose through breaking down barriers caused by and related to mental health symptoms. I have been in the field for over 10 years working with diverse populations and ages. I have worked with individuals suffering from anxiety/depression and those with personality disorders. My approach I take a collective approach to therapy and apply interventions from various theories such as person centered, solution focused, CBT, DBT, trauma focused, family systems, positive psychology, and more. My focus I enjoy working with individuals who are looking to better theirselves, making improvements in their life, and working on challenging aspects. I work with anxiety, depression, self esteem, body image, substance use/co occurring, and personality disorders. My communication style I will create a safe non judge mental environment for clients to feel comfortable discussing sensitive topics. I will provide a welcoming and calm tone. My journey to therapy I found my love for psychology in my first two years of college and followed the path to become a therapist. I love getting to know my clients and being a part of their breakthroughs and self discovery. My goals for you I will assist in creating goal that clients feel are applicable to their life and that are realistic and achievable. My first session with you Our first session will be a "get to know each other" session where we will have a conversation on background and current concerns along with strengths.
