Hey there! As a Licensed Social Worker, I strive to create a genuine, safe, and relaxed environment to work collaboratively with you to process your emotions and support you in meeting your goals.
I followed my passion to help others thrive by obtaining both my bachelors and masters degree in clinical social work with a minor in counseling at the University of Toledo, finishing my degrees in 2018. After obtaining my state required licensure, I practiced in various settings working with clients at substance abuse treatment centers, community mental health agencies, inpatient behavioral hospitals, and college campuses. All where I was able to provide both individual and group therapy to help people restore wellness.
As part of my main treatment approach, I use a holistic perspective and integrate both the mind and body, believing that healing and lasting change takes place when incorporating lifestyle changes that will promote long-term resiliency for future challenges. Also, utilizing cognitive-behavioral therapy, I work with you to recognize and improve negative or destructive thought patterns to promote a more realistic view of life's stressors.
