About

I am a licensed professional counselor in the state of Maryland. My journey to become a professional counselor began almost 10 years ago when I became unsatisfied with the career path I was on. I now have over 6 years of professional experience in addition to decades of life experience as a helper.

I have worked with individuals, families and groups in a variety of settings including private practice, outpatient mental health clinics, communities and schools.

I have experiencing treating anxiety, depression, stress, difficult life changes and have a particular interest in helping parents and families. I tailor my approach to the individual person and what I believe will be most helpful for them. I often use techniques from solution focused therapy, CBT, and person centered therapy.

My passion is in helping people to find the lives they were meant to live. Sometimes life experiences or unhelpful thought patterns can get in the way of us finding our joy.

In our work together I hope to help you unlock the resources you already have inside of you to create to life you desire. I can help with symptom relief as well as developing insight and understanding of who you are, where you come from and who you hope to be in the future.
