About

I am a Licensed Family and Marriage Therapist and Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker in the state of Minnesota with over 12 years of experience providing in person and online therapy for individuals, couples, and groups counseling, I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship problems, sexual health and sexuality, couple problems, sexual intimacy problems, trauma, domestic abuse, divorce and separation, parenting problems, attachment, adoption and foster care, grief and loss, immigration issues, OCD and learning difficulties, I also helped many people who have experienced emotional/ verbal, physical, or sexual abuse or assault.

My counseling style is warm, patient, kind and interactive. I believe in treating anyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion, and I don't believe in stigmatizing labels. My approach combines cognitive-behavioral, client centered, narrative, solution focused, psychodynamic and systemiccounseling. Together we will tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs.

I enjoy and feel honored to be a part of someone’s personal experiences, as our problems and feelings are unique and yet we are all one and together. This is the way I like to approach my sessions – as a team, addressing challenges together to become free from judgment, criticism, and pain; to change our negative perceptions that do not serve us well; and to live a joyful and peaceful life.

For my professional growth, I continuously read related literature, keep myself up to date with the ethical and legal guidelines in the field, and the latest research, and attend conferences and trainings.

In my personal and free time I like to spend time with my family and our new puppy. I love traveling, skiing, playing tennis, running, baking and going to any fun event
