About

Hi, I am Corinna Evans, a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Colorado and National Certified Counselor (NCC). I received my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Sociology from University of Colorado Colorado Springs and my Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and School Counseling from Adams State University.

I have spent the last eight years working with children and adolescents in an inpatient psychiatric hospital. I also have four years of experience as a School Counselor at both the elementary and high school level. In addition, I have completed the facilitator training for Positive Solutions for Families. Therefore, I also have extensive experience working with parents to help alleviate challenging behaviors with their children and increase positive, evidence based parenting strategies.

In telehealth counseling I am passionate about continuing to work with children, adolescents, and their parents. In addition, I am also eager to do individual counseling with adult clients as well as couples counseling. I have training in Prepare Enrich, a premarital counseling program.

I believe that you are the expert of your story and that you have many strengths that will assist you in overcoming things that challenge you. The only person that can truly make that happen is you. As therapists, we are here to help guide you but ultimately it’s your journey. The first step is taking “a step”. I understand the difference quality therapy can make in someone’s life so let’s take that step together. I am here to support & empower you in your journey.
