I am an LPC who specializes in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, which is an evidence-based technique that challenges and changes maladaptive cognitive distortions and behaviors which have negatively impacted your life. Therapy is a good choice when one needs assistance in sorting out thoughts of anxiety and depression. It is time to do some self-care and together we can work on strategies that will help you develop healthy coping skills. One strategy that I do encourage is journal writing, which allows you to sort out those thoughts that cause anxiety or depression. Other tools will be provided to improve emotion regulation and develop personal coping strategies to effectively problem solve independently.
