I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in North Carolina with 30 years experience helping clients manage their challenges. I have worked with individuals struggling with a range of issues including anxiety, stress, depression, anger, chronic illness and parenting issues. I also have experience working with individuals and loved ones impacted by Sickle Cell Disease, Thalassemia and renal failure (ESRD/Dialysis).

My counseling style is relaxed, adaptive and interactive, infused with humor when appropriate. I believe in creating a partnership where the client determines their goals and builds on their strengths to become more skillful in managing their challenges, My approach is solution focused using cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT). From our first interaction you will receive strategies to practice. Your treatment plan will be individualized to meet your specific needs.
