About
I believe that psychological pain and suffering often result from our inability to live as our authentic selves, experiencing rejection and pain from others, and feeling misunderstood and disregarded. As your therapist, I want to provide a safe and accepting space to explore your true thoughts and feelings and learn how to live as your authentic self in the context of safe and healthy relationships with others. My approach to therapy involves promoting better understanding of the self, clarifying values, changing attachment to unhelpful thought and emotional patterns, and cultivating safe and healthy relationships with self and with others. I look forward to getting to know who you are and helping you figure out how to deal with what’s getting in your way so you can live a meaningful existence as your authentic self.
