Is your world feeling out of control or frightening? Have you stopped taking care of yourself the way you used to? Has your mood been affected by current personal or global crises? Are you wanting to change unhealthy patterns or addictions? You are not alone, and I can help you through this. Together we will explore your reasons for seeking treatment as well as relevant emotional, social, cultural, vocational, and environmental history. Collaboratively we will identify your strengths and needs to create a goal-oriented plan to increase life satisfaction and overall wellness. You will gain knowledge, self-awareness, and coping strategies in a safe space with my calm and caring presence. If interested, I offer “homework” (don’t freak out, it’s not required) to help you track progress and/or gain deeper understanding of yourself through art or writing. With over 17 years of experience as an MFT and Registered Art Therapist I bring compassion, honesty, creativity, and a necessary amount of humor to the therapeutic environment. I specialize in anxiety, depression, substance use and addiction, working with the LGBTQ+ community, and life changes / transitions.
