I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor in the State of North Carolina. I have been in practice for over 2 years. I have worked with a diverse population in private practice, hospital, and agency settings. I work with people who have anxiety or mood issues, grief and loss, personality disorders, and substance use.
I use different approaches tailored to the individual need. some examples of empirically based approaches that I use are Cognitive-Behavioral, Solution Focused, Motivational Interviewing, and Person Centered approaches.
Reaching out for help is difficult, and takes courage. We all need someone to give an ear or be present to the issues we are dealing with. I do my best to create a warm therapeutic environment that is free of judgment.
