About
I work from a client-centered framework where clients define their goals of therapy and I help them meet those goals. I incorporate aspects of Cognitive-Behavior theory, mindfulness, and Solution-Focused Therapy into my sessions. My goal in working with individual is to connect them with the supports and services they need to continue being successful. My professional interest includes addictions, alcohol and other drug abuse, relationship issues (family, social, romantic), stress and self-esteem. I received my master’s degree from Youngstown State University in college mental health counseling in 2016. While getting my master’s degree I worked for three years as a therapist treating opiate additions. Since graduating I have spent two years working at Salisbury University and three years at Ohio State University. In my free time I enjoy being outdoors and active. A few of my hobbies including kayaking, hiking with my dog, playing sports and watching The Office.
