About

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas. I am bilingual and speak Spanish. I received my master’s degree in Guidance and Counseling from The University of Texas at El Paso. I have 11 years’ experience as an educator in the public-school setting. I have 6 years of counseling experience. I have experience and training in Trauma Informed Care, Restorative Practices, Mental Health First Aid, Mindfulness, and Trauma and Grief Component Therapy for Adolescents.
I have worked with clients of all ages with a wide range of concerns including
depression, anxiety, family conflicts, coping with grief and loss, parenting issues,
social behavior, and crisis counseling.
It is my belief that as humans we are ever evolving and changing. Life is filled with many ups and downs. I believe we are not meant to journey through life on our own. As a counselor it is my hope that I can offer my clients the assistance to support and guide them to discover the best version of themselves.
