About
Seeking help is a vulnerable process and one that doesn’t have to be done alone. No matter what you would like to work on, either individually or as a couple, I am committed to helping you find ways to reach your personal goals. Therapy is a unique experience that can help you learn more about yourself, feel empowered, and live a life that feels authentic to you. Let's get started! One of the most important things to me while working together is providing you with a space that is nonjudgmental, supportive, and safe. I value each and every one of my client’s lived experiences, intersecting identities, and perspectives. In our work together you can expect us to find ways to achieve progress at a pace that is comfortable for you, while also finding moments to dig a little deeper. I work to find my client’s individual strengths to enhance their wellbeing and make the changes they want to see. In my work with couples we will work to build a foundation of trust, respect and open communication to create better intimacy and love. Although progress is not always linear, I will stand alongside you during the peaks and valleys. I have both my Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and undergrad in psychology from Northwestern University and I am member of the American Counseling Association. When I am not working with clients or on my studies, you can find me working as a manager and certified personal trainer at a Chicago-based fitness studio. My passion for physical wellness began early on and has contributed to my holistic approach to wellness. I recently began competitions as a fun way to challenge myself. I often spend my time hanging out with my goofy and ginormous Golden Retriever, Theo, who weighs in at a whopping 110lbs. My favorite way to connect to my Mexican heritage is through food. I currently live in Chicago with my wife and enjoy biking around the city, exploring new neighborhoods, trying new coffee shops, and jamming out to music.
