I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I have a warm, relational style. Creating trust in our therapeutic relationship is very important to me. I focus on what is meaningful to you. Together we can talk about what belongs and what does not, what works and what just doesn’t. Many people who come to therapy with me are struggling with stress, anxiety, depression, marital issues, parent-child issues, substance abuse, ADHD, teens with self-harming. I work with people who have experienced trauma, PTSD, loss, and grief. Many clients are trying to make sense of their marriages, partnerships, and family situations. In my experience, it makes sense to draw on several different approaches to meet your needs. I use emotionally focused work, solution-focused, family systems, cognitive-behavioral, positive therapy, somatic awareness, and strengths-based therapy to name a few. Most importantly, my focus is helping you develop a meaningful relationship with yourself, your life, your loved ones, and your goals. New inner confidence can be created as we talk about what brings you to therapy, find the challenges, and make discoveries. It takes courage to come to counseling but aren’t you just a little curious about the possibilities of seeing life situations with a new set of dreams with realistic goals to lead you there?
