Hello, I am Dr. Cindy McIntire. I am a licensed marriage and family therapist. I have a doctorate in counselor education and supervision. I have over 15 years of experience working in residential treatment and have been counseling diverse populations for the last 4 years in both agencies and private practice. In addition to my clinical work, I also teach and supervise new marriage and family counselors where I focus on their development and understanding of evidence-based family therapy models.
My therapeutic approach is strength-based with a focus on individual and family systems. I can conform my approach to meet the needs of my clients. I have extensive training in solution-focused therapy, couples and family therapy, and working with developmental delays. I am a firm believer in working to improve the client system from a holistic approach.
I enjoy music, travel, and culture. I appreciate opportunities to learn and experience other cultures. I love spending time with my family.
