My name is Ciara! I am licensed independent social worker who graduated from Ohio State University with a BA in Social Work and a MS from Wright State University in Social Work with a children and family focus. I have worked in a variety of mental health settings including family services, outpatient therapist, and school based mental health therapist. Over the years I have worked with youth of all ages, adults and families. I understand that starting therapy is not always an easy process and I strive to provide a safe and judgement free space for my clients and meet you with empathy and understanding. I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Mindfulness techniques in therapy as well as play therapy elements with my youth clients. My specialties include addressing anxiety, depression, trauma, attention/concentration and impulsivity, autism, anger management and opposition, social skills and self esteem issues.
