About

I am a Licensed Marriage Family Therapist and School Wellness Counselor with over 20 years of clinical experience. My work as a therapist is centered on providing a safe place for my clients to openly express their thoughts and feelings. I see therapy as a journey of self-empowerment. As a therapist, my responsibility is to support my clients as they go on this very personal, emotional journey. I am committed to providing my clients with the tools they need in order to better navigate their lives and enhance their relationships.

I am a graduate of California State University, Sacramento. I hold a B.S. in Criminal Justice and an M.S. in Counseling Psychology. In addition, I am an active member of CAMFT (California Association of Marriage Family Therapists). I have worked in many aspects of mental health including hospitals, clinics, treatment centers, and school settings. I have a passion for working with others to help them achieve their fullest potential. I am always humbled to hear that the passion I express for my work makes me a favorite among my students, parents, peers, and clients. I look forward to being able to travel with you on this journey.
