Christy is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and has dedicated the past 9 years working with clients and their families to create a safe and supportive environment for individuals to explore their thoughts and feelings while developing healthy skills to navigate daily and life challenges. Christy has experience working with a wide range of ages, ethnicities, and backgrounds, specializing in Depression, Anxiety, Pre and Postpartum, Child Development/Behavioral Issues, Anger Management, Decision Making, ADHD/OCD, Intrusive Thoughts, Concrete Functioning, Chronic Illness, Adjustment to End of Life and Relationship/Family Conflict. She received her Master’s Degree in Social Work from Adelphi University and her Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice from Pace University. Christy utilizes evidence-based practices and strength-based approach, helping her clients feel empowered and able to successfully reach their therapeutic goals.
