In my clinical work with clients I have found that at times their traumatic experiences have contributed to thoughts and ideas that get in the way of them living their better lives; we can get stuck in our thinking. Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) directly helps us overcome thinking that is keeping us from living better. Cognitive Processing Therapy is highly structured and directly addresses negative symptoms of posttraumatic stress disorder, depression, and anxiety.
