About
In my most recent position in a short term psych hospital, I worked extensively on a daily basis with patients to address their anxiety and depression, helping patients find the techniques that work for them to combat their thinking distortions. In the hospital environment my role was to address the problem with every patient that came through the door. Aggressive behaviors, anxiety and depression, paranoia, suicidal ideation, suicide attempt are some of the issues I dealt with on a daily basis. Extreme manic behavior, bi-polar disorder and border line personality disorder are included in some of the more difficult problems we addressed. Finding what worked specifically for each patient to address their issues individually promoted success for each patient.
