Hello! My name is Christine and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the beautiful State of Oklahoma. As the nation struggles with the pandemic we are facing, my counseling license is also recognized in a number of other states. I have had over 10 years experience working in the mental health field. I have a broad range of experience in a variety of settings providing exceptional mental health and substance abuse treatment care in outpatient clinics, correctional facilities, communities/homes, and schools. I have experience working with adults and adolescents having difficulties with depression, anxiety, family/relationship conflicts, life transitions, severe mental illness, and complex trauma/abuse. I also have experience working with LBGTQ+ individuals and have counseled transgendered clients post and prior transition as well as supporting them through the process. My past experience includes crisis intervention and working with individuals as they receive psychopharmacology treatment from their prescribers.

As I have walked the path with individuals facing many different challenges who come from a variety of backgrounds, I also use a varied approach to counseling techniques. I specialize in person centered, holistic approach incorporating CBT and motivational interviewing techniques. What this means to you is that I meet you where you are now and plan with you how we can get you to where you wish to be.
