I have over 14 years of experience working in mental health services, in intensive inpatient and varied outpatient settings, working with all treatment modalities and multiple practice theories, serving diverse Medi-Cal, managed care, special education and privately funded clients. I also have many additional years of experience providing Christian Counseling on a volunteer basis.

I work primarily with women. My specialties include: short-term and longer-term Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Psychodynamic Psychotherapy, art and play therapy, systems theory, anxiety, depression, communication, conflict resolution and parenting skills, training, instruction, Christian counseling and psychoeducational trainings.

I incorporate a warm and engaging therapy style. I have had many years of experience as a clinical therapist and supervising other clinical therapists, which has allowed me to continually refine my style. I know that it is difficult to trust someone new with your personal thoughts and feelings. I will go out of my way in session to earn the privilege of being someone worthy of your trust. We can then work together on issues that affect your quality of life.
