About

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, with over 20 years of experience. I have worked in variety of settings: private practice, community mental health, inpatient psychiatric and substance abuse treatment. I have experience working with individuals with Depression, Generalized Anxiety, Social Anxiety, Family and Relationship Issues, and Substance Use Disorders. I provide individual counseling, family therapy and couples counseling.

I use an eclectic approach to therapy, with an emphasis on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I believe that the same approach does not always work for every person. It's important to understand the client and his/her motivation and goals in treatment to provide the best treatment modality. I am direct in my approach while at the same time providing compassion.
