I have served individual’s and families in for over a decade as a Licensed Professional Counselor with a Masters of Arts in Mental Health Counseling. The focus of my practice is assist patients process the trauma that they have experienced and offering them coping techniques to help move them through their daily living. I believe strongly that "trauma should be something that happened to you NOT something that controls you" and will work from a place of strength to empower the patient to recognize that they are thriving in a great number of ways. I will travel with you on your journey as you process feeling that may be difficult to address and by doing so address the symptoms that are creating daily imbalance for you and your families. I will use a variety of treatment approaches from trauma focused cognitive behavioral therapy to prolonged exposure therapy-you and I will collaborate during our time together to determine the best treatment approach for you.
